Yewande Olusore (Founder)

Yewande is the founder of SteadfastLove Foundation and is an advocate for girls' education and body safety education. She supports girls in underprivileged communities/low income families to go back to school and also teaches Body Safety Education in schools in rural areas. SFL-Foundation is a registered women-led NGO in Lagos, Nigeria that aims to transform the lives of girls and women in rural areas to become useful to themselves and their communities through access to formal education, vocational and skills training.

In an effort to bridge the gap that exists between girls and school enrolment, to increase girls' enrolment in schools, and to end the exclusion of married, pregnant students from schools, the SteadFastLove Foundation launched the Girls Support Centre. The Girls Support Centre is a safe haven where girls can read, socialise and play with their friends. The centre also plays an important role in educating girls about their rights so that they can protect themselves from harmful practices such as child sexual abuse and child marriage.
