Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes while you are waiting for you next flight?

The Frankfurt AIWC has invited our members to join their tour of Frankfurt International Airport. This tour includes a bus tour with explanations provided about the terminal systems, runway systems, aircraft handling, cargo centres and the construction of Terminal 3.

The 120min XXL tour is the “big band” of their tours. While riding the bus we can watch ground handling of aircraft and takeoff and landings on central runways, get a good look at the new fire station and drive past CargoCity South to the Terminal 3 construction site, among other things. The tour is in English and the guide will be more than happy to answer questions and show us everything about the airport.

The tour starts at 11:00 and the meeting place is Terminal 1, Concourse C, Departures (Level 2). Follow the sign FRA Airport Tours. Please be at the designated meeting point 25 minutes before the start of the event.
