This Thanksgiving marked a special milestone for our charity club as we joined forces with the Schiller International University, Heidelberg campus, to celebrate together with their students for the second time. The university graciously provided the venue and drinks, setting the perfect stage for an evening of gratitude and connection.

Our event brought together 15 of our club members and around 40 students from Schiller, creating a vibrant and diverse gathering. The spirit of Thanksgiving was alive in the shared dishes: our club contributed only one roasted turkey this year, while the students delighted everyone with culinary creations from their home countries, adding a rich multicultural touch to the feast. The evening was filled with warmth, laughter, and stories, as we reflected on the importance of gratitude and community. It was an evening to remember—a celebration not just of Thanksgiving but of the bonds that bring us all closer.
