Monthly Meeting in November

During our monthly meeting on 6 November at the historic Heiliggeist Church in Heidelberg's Old Town, we had the privilege of learning about Anna, an organization making a meaningful impact in our community. Anna is dedicated to assisting individuals in prostitution by providing counseling services, conducting street outreach (both in-person and online), and raising awareness to challenge and eliminate societal stereotypes. Their important work highlights the need for compassion, understanding, and proactive support for marginalized groups. It was truly inspiring to learn about their mission and efforts!

We also watched a powerful 15-minute short film about the ongoing photo exhibition "gesichtslos (faceless) – Women in Prostitution". The film and exhibition offer a poignant glimpse into the realities faced by these women, shedding light on their stories and experiences in a deeply impactful way.
