Look forward to dining in this 300-year-old traditional German restaurant, which has been serving guests for six generations. The interior is like a museum, preserving its original state since 1965.
The "Zum Roten Ochsen" inn is one of the oldest and most traditional student bars in Heidelberg. Built in 1703, the Red Ox has been owned continuously for over 185 years by the Spengel family. The Inn looks back on a long history with many well-known Americans guests, such as Mark Twain, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, and Mamie Eisenhower.
Cost for dinner: 45 EUR per person which includes:
- Welcome drink: SchriesSecco (regional sparkling wine)
- Vegetable soup (vegan)
- Main dish - a choice of:
- Wienerschnitzel (breaded veal or chicken)
- Vegetarian Knödel with champignon ragout
